Milford, Conn. - The Brown women's golf team completed a successful fall season with a second place finish at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational, played at the Great River Golf Club. Brown finished with a two-day 643 on rounds of 330-313, moving from fifth place to second place on the final day of play.
Yale earned the team title with a two-round 623, followed by Brown (643), St. John's (649), Sacred Heart (653), Central Connecticut (659), Long Island University (666), Hartford (684), Monmouth (687), Boston University (702) and Holy Cross (718).
Senior captain Susan Restrepo led the Brown squad with a 36-hole 158, shooting 83-75 to place 8th individually. Junior Megan Tuohy was Brown's second top scorer, finishing 10th individually with a two-day 160 (82-78).
Senior Sarah Guarascio also enjoyed a solid tournament, shooting 80-81--160. Junior Carly Arison was close behind after a final round 79, finishing with a 36-hole 166. Junior Heather Arison came in at 171 overall (85-86).
