Springfield, NJ - The Brown women's golf team completed play at the 54-holf Ivy League Championship with its best finish in recent years, placing fifth overall after shooting 339 on Sunday at the par-72, 6,099 yard Baltusrol Golf Club.
Playing the Upper Course at Baltusrol, coach Danielle Griffith's team shot a three-round 996, placing ahead of Columbia (998) and Dartmouth (1021) in the league standings. Penn took the team title with a 54-hole score of 929, followed by Yale (951), Harvard (954) and Princeton (977).
Sophomore Megan Tuohy was Brown's top scorer on Sunday, shooting 81 in steady rain to finish the tournament as Brown's top finisher with a 54-hole 243. Sophomore Heather Arison was also solid on Sunday, shooting 84 to finish at 246.
