Megan Patterson To Play In North/South Senior All-Star Game

Brown senior Megan Patterson (Holliston, MA), a two-time captain, will extend her field hockey playing career a little longer. She was one of 19 athletes chosen to the North roster for the Division I North-South Senior All-Star Game, to be held at Kent State University on Saturday, November 17, 2001. The game, to be played at Dix Stadium, will begin following the Division II game.

With two games left this season, Patterson, currently has two goals and two assists for six points. In addition, she owns the Brown career assists record (32) as well as the record for assists in a season (19), which she accomplished in Brown's record-setting 1999 season. A one-time All-Ivy pick and the recipient of the team's Outstanding Defensive Player award last season, Patterson was also selected to play for the New England Eclipse, one of seven teams in the United Airlines Field Hockey League, during the summer of 2001.

Patterson is concentrating in Civil Engineering.
