PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown senior Stacy Gugliotta (East Falmouth, MA) was named Ivy League Player of the week (10/23) after helping to lead Brown to a 5-2 victory over Bucknell, while snapping a three-game skid.
Against the Bison, the senior forward scored a career-high three goals. She scored the first goal of the game to give Brown a 1-0 lead and then scored back-to-back goals in the second half to give Brown leads of 4-1 and 5-1. She is currently tied for the Ivy League lead in scoring with teammate Andrea Posa (Weston, MA) with a career-high 18 points (8g,2a). Gugliotta is having a break-through senior season for the Bears, after scoring just two goals in her previous three years.
The Bears travel to Holy Cross this afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. non-league contest.
