Brown senior Megan Patterson (Holliston, MA) was selected by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as an All-American Athlete for 2002. Brown Strength and Conditioning Coach, Roger Marandino, nominated Patterson for her dedication to strength training and conditioning.
A unanimous selection for First Team All-Ivy, Patterson in among 184 athletes from 84 colleges and universities from the across the county to be recognized for the their passion and hard work in and out of the weight room. The 2002 All-Americans are recognized for their athletic accomplishments, academic and personal achievements, community involvement, and leadership qualities.
Brown finished the season with an 8-9 record and a 3-4 mark in the Ivy League.
