Field Hockey Falls To #15 Boston College, 2-0

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The 15th-ranked Boston College Eagles (10-2) scored twice in the first half to defeat Brown (2-5), 2-0, in non-conference action on Friday evening.

The Eagles scored what proved to be the game-winner just 13:30 into the contest and added an insurance goal just 11:00 later en route to the 2-0 win.

Offensively, junior Lizzie Buza (Houston, TX) led the team with three shots, while senior Cory Pelletier (Walpole, MA) added one defensive save for the Bears.

Sophomore Katie Noe (Simsbury, CT) made five saves in net for the Bears who continue action on Sunday when they face Northeastern in a 2:00 p.m. game at Wentworth Institute.
