Three Brown University Women's Crew Members Are Named All-Americans

The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced the 2002 All-American Teams, which included three members of Brown's NCAA Champion Women's Crew team.

Earning First Team honors were Brown seniors Rosie Branson-Gill (Medforsd,MA) and Jessica Lanning (Atlanta, GA). Gaining honors as a second team All-American was Bears senior Lucy Lueders-Booth (Cambridge, MA).

The Brown University Women's Rowing team won the 2002 NCAA Division I Rowing Championship, it's third championship in four years at the Women's Rowing Championships on the Eagle Creek Reservoir in Indianapolis, IN.

This award is designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of female rowers and coxswains during the current season. These athletes must meet their respective institution's eligibility rules, participating in at least 75 percent of the season's races in the varsity boat. Also, the coaches of these student-athletes must be a member of the CRCA.
