Camden, NJ - Another well-rounded team effort propelled the Brown women's crew to its second straight EAWRC Sprints team title on Sunday. Racing seven boats in all, the Bears advanced all of them to the grand finals with all seven placing in the top three, including five first place finishes. The team compiled 76 points overall, 18 points ahead of second place finisher Princeton. Radcliffe rounded out the top three while Yale, which won the varsity eight race, finished fourth in the team standings. Brown was also victorious in the alumnae race, easily winning by over 17 seconds.

Brown placed third in the varsity eight grand final behind the Bulldogs and top-seeded Princeton, which edged out the Bears by just one second. The Bears dominated the rest of the races, capturing gold medals in the third varsity four "a" and "b" races, the first and second novice eight races and the novice four race. Brown, the top seed in all five races, timed in three seconds ahead of Yale in the third varsity four "a" races. In the "b" race, the Bears recorded a five second victory over Penn.
