Providence, RI - The Brown Women's Crew won five out of the five races against Boston University on Friday evening on the Seekonk River.
The Bears' varsity eight came in at 6:17.27 as the Terriers trailed behind at 6:33.60. The second varsity race was a close one, as Brown crossed the line at 6:34.66 and Boston University came in right behind at 6:40.81.
Brown took control of the varsity four race, as Brown Novice "A" came in first with a 7:09.55, followed by Brown Novice "B" at 7:15.59, Brown "A" at 7:26.32 and then Boston University with a 7:39.66.
In the varsity four "B race, the Bears had another close one with the tough Terrier crew, but Brown was able to come out on top with a time of 7:34.1 to the Terriers' 7:34.72. Brown's freshman crew came in at 6:46 and Boston's crossed the line at 7:21.73.
Up next, the Brown women's crew will challenge Columbia and Cornell on the Seekonk on April 21 at noon.
