Tessa Gobbo Wins Collegiate Event At CRASH-B Indoor Rowing World Championships

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS - On Sunday, February 17th, several members of the Brown women's crew team competed at the CRASH-B Indoor Rowing World Championships at Agganis Arena on the campus of Boston University.

It was a good day for the women's crew as senior Tessa Gobbo (Chesterfield, NH) won the collegiate event and came in third overall in the open heavyweight event with a time of 6:46.20. Additionally, sophomore Coco Schoeller (West Palm Beach, FL) placed fifth in the Under-23 category and 12th overall.

The Bears hope to translate these victories into continued success as they begin their season in March. The women will travel to Princeton for their season opener on March 30th.
