PROVIDENCE, R.I. - After placing second overall at the EAWRC Sprints in Camden, N.J., this past weekend, Brown women's crew will await the results of the NCAA Division I Selection Show, aired live on NCAA.com. The Bears hope to hear their names and travel cross country to Sacramento, Calif. for the 2011 Finals.

Last year, Brown and head coach John Murphy placed fifth at the NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Championship, held at the same venue as 2011, on Lake Natona, just outside of Sacramento, Calif.

With their fifth-place finish, the Bears have placed in the top-five at all 14 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships, winning six NCAA titles and finishing second three more times.
