Brown Women’s Crew Has Biggest Entry Ever At Head of the Charles

Boston, Mass. – At one of the biggest races of the year, Brown women's crew was well represented, entering six boats into the field at the Head of the Charles, the team's largest entry ever. The Bears boasted two boats in the championship eight, two in the championship four and alumni boats in the alumni eight and championship eight. 

"We were excited to have some many boats in this year's field and be at such a great event," said assistant coach Phoebe Murphy. "We were pleased with the results and we think the team is in a good place at this point in the season."

Brown's championship eight team came in third overall with a time of 15.58.062, less than a second behind Virginia, who finished second overall. The championship four boat was the squad's highest finisher at second overall at 17:48.071.
