Bears Drop 83-51 Decision to Crimson

The Brown University Women's Basketball team finished off the 2002-2003 season with a loss to the Harvard Crimson 83-51. The Bears finished off the season in second place behind the Crimson with an overall record of 15-12, and 9-5 in the Ivy League.

The Bears were led by sophomore Holly Robertson (Cochrane, Alberta) who netted 11 points and pulled down four boards. Also scoring in double digits for the Bears was junior co-captain Miranda Craigwell (Dorcester, MA) who recorded ten points.

Leading the team in rebounds was sophomore co-captain Andrea Conrad (South Easton, MA) who pulled down six, she also added four points. Freshmen Colleen Kelly (Rochester, NY) and Sarah Hayes (Beaufort, SC) combined for 13 points.

Junior Tanara Golston (Skokie, IL) added five points as freshman Ashley Van Kurin (Yorba Linda, CA) recorded five. Golston also led the team in assists with five. Contributing two points a piece were freshman Jackie Vocell (Atkinson, NH) and sophomore Christine Okike (Boylston, MA).
