HANOVER, NH -- The Brown women's basketball team dropped a 70-52 decision to the Dartmouth Big Green in an Ivy League contest at Leede Arena on Friday night.
Three players each scored nine points apiece to lead Brown (5-21, 2-11 Ivy). Senior Rada Pavichevich (Norwood Park, IL) had nine points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists. Fellow senior Erin-Kate Barton (Portland, OR) came through with nine points, five rebounds, and four steals. Sophomore Tanara Golston (Skokie, IL) also added nine points and handed out four assists while hitting five of six free throws on the evening.
In the first half the Bears fell behind early, as Dartmouth's Katharine Hanks scored the first 15 points of the game for the Big Green on seven of ten shooting from the floor.
Dartmouth (10-16, 6-6 Ivy) claimed a nine point lead at 25-16 with 7:20 remaining in the half, but the Bears clawed their way back over the next four minutes with a 7-2 run to cut the Big Green lead to four at 27-23 with 3:35 remaining.

In the second half, the Big Green opened with a 17-4 run to take control of the game as they ran out to a 50-30 lead with 12:43 remaining in the contest.
A layup by Golston cut the Dartmouth lead to 12 at 56-44 with 6:25 remaining, but that would be the closest the Bears would come as they could not manage to overcome the deficit down the stretch.
