Providence, RI – Brown University women's basketball coach Jean Marie Burr has announced her team's 2012-13 schedule. The schedule features 28 regular season games, which includes eight teams that earned bids to 2012 post season competition, with at least 13 being played inside the friendly confines of the Pizzitola Sports Center.
"We are thrilled to release our 2012-2013 schedule. Playing against eight programs who participated in post season play last March is very exciting and will help us daily in preparation for the very competitive Ivy League tournament beginning in January," said Burr. "Our slate of nationally recognized opponents is highlighted by a trip to the Terrapin Classic to face Maryland, an Elite 8 participant a year ago. We will also be playing teams from the Big East, Atlantic-10, America East, MAAC, NEC, MEAC, Patriot League, and Great West. This schedule is very challenging and we are looking forward to competing at a high level this season."
