
Providence, RI- The Ivy League released its winter list of Academic All-Ivy honorees, with ten Brown student-athletes being recognized. The five males and five females were starters or key reserves on their respective varsity teams and carry a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average.
MEN:
SR Duriel Hardy – Indoor Track & Field
- First Team All-Ivy in 5k with an indoor personal record of 14:21.28.
Concentration: Neuroscience
JR Garrett Leffelman – Men’s Basketball
- Brown’s second leading scorer and second in Ivy League in field goal percentage.
Concentration: Political Science
SR Adam Pantel – Men’s Fencing
- NCAA qualifier in foil; First Team All-Ivy in foil for second consecutive year; Compiled a 10-4 mark in Ivy competition.
Concentration: Computer Science
SR JD Pinto – Men’s Swimming & Diving
- Placed seventh in the 100 fly and 11th in the 100 back at Ivy Championships.
Concentration: Mathematical Economics
SR Aaron Volpatti – Men’s Ice Hockey
- Tri-captain; Second Team All-Ivy; Third Team All-ECAC; Finalist for ECAC’s Best Defensive Forward; Led team with 17 goals

WOMEN:
JR Chelsey Binkley – Gymnastics
- Second Team All-Ivy Classic on both the floor exercise and in all-around.
Concentration: English
JR Krista Consiglio – Skiing
- Second Team All-American in giant slalom, slalom, and combined at Nationals; Honorable Mention USCSA All-Academic.
Concentration: Political Science
SR Danielle Grunloh – Women’s Track & Field
- First Team All-Ivy in the shot put with a 15.48-meter throw.
Concentration: Human Biology
SR Christina Johnson – Women’s Basketball
- Tri-Captain; Brown’s second-leading scorer; Ranked seventh in the Ivy League in free throw percentage (76 percent).
Concentration: History
SR Laura Pyne – Women’s Squash
- Team Captain; Helped Brown to a #10 National ranking playing at number one.
