Sheeran Leads Men’s Cross Country at NCAA Regional

BOSTON – Senior Will Sheeran (Bellevue, Wash.) ran to a 24th-place finish as the Brown men's cross country team placed ninth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional Friday at Franklin Park in Boston.

Brown totaled 315 points, while Syracuse captured first place with 29 points. Iona was runner up with 40 points to secure the second automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Sheeran finished the 10-kilometer course in a time of 31:19, followed by rookie Eli Moskowitz (Amherst, N.H.) at 34th in a time of 31:32. Junior Stephen Bourguet (Manhasset, N.Y.) was 60th overall as he crossed the finish line in a time of 31:58.

Sophomore Ryan Anderson (Santa Rosa, Calif.) and junior Luke Muzikowski (Chicago, Ill.) completed the course in times of 32:19 and 32:49, respectively, to round out the Bruno scorers.
