Bears Wrestle to a 4th Place Finish in the Keystone Classic

The Brown wrestling team finished 4th at the Keystone Classic on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania Sunday, November 23. Senior Nick Ciarcia (Berlin, CT) placed first in 184 as nine other grapplers placed in the top six in their events.
Senior David Dies (Akron, OH) wrestled for the championship in the 149 division and took a second place finish for the Bears.
Also placing for Brown was senior Sean Jenkins (Schnecksville, PA) and sophomore Mike Pedro (Lynn, MA) who finished 3rd in their respected weights. Sophomore Lee Beane (Bridgewater, MA) grabbed a 4th place finish in the heavyweight division and Mike Savino (Lawrenceville, NJ)took a 5th place finish in 157. Taking home 6th place finishes for the Bears was sophomores Dan Apello (Roselle Park, NJ) and Dave Saadeh (Lancaster, PA) and junior Clinton Hicks.
Brown will continue action December 5th and 6th in the Las Vegas Open.
