Men's Wrestling Beats Drexel 22-14 but Falls to Lehigh 9-25

The men's wrestling team split the day with a win against Dexel 22-14 and a loss to Lehigh 9-25. Senior David Dies (Akron, OH) won both his bouts on the day to lead the bears.
Against Drexel, Brown won six of ten matches to end with a score of 22-14. Dies won with a score of 5-2, sophomore David Saadeh (Lancaster, PA) won a commanding match13-3, along with seniors Sean Jenkins (Schnecksville, PA) and Nick Ciarcia (Berlin, CT) winning solidly with scores of 16-4 and 12-4 respectively. Sophomores Lee Beane (Bridgewater, MA) and Greg Pace (Bethel, CT) added more points for the bears wining 3-1 and 9-1.
In action with Lehigh, the Bears only won three of ten matches. Dies got Brown on the board first with a victory of 6-5, and sophomores Michael Savino (Lawrenceville, NJ) and Mike Ashton (Perry, OH) added Brown's only other points with wins 8-5 and 4-2.
The Bears continue competition next Friday, February 6th against Pennsylvania at home at 2pm.
