Ed Gutnik is in his fourth season as an assistant coach at Brown. A three-time NCAA qualifier and 2006 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Gutnik will work primarily with Brown's lower weight classes. Gutnik wrestled at the 133 and 141 pound classes, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament three times. He also placed at the Big Ten Championship three times, with a career high finish of third place. He worked as a volunteer assistant at Wisconsin in 2007. Gutnik graduated with a BA in Russian Language and Culture and is currently pursuing his masters degree from Johnson & Wales University with a concentration on International Trade. He is also still competing at the senior level with Gator Wrestling Club.
