Brown Falls to Bucknell and Columbia

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Less than 24 hours after taking on the number one team in the country (Cornell) the Bears were back on the mat, this time hosting Bucknell and Columbia. Several Brown wrestlers put in impressive performances, but it was the Bison (31-7) and Lions (24-9) that came away with the victories.

Grant Overcashier was Brown's wrestler of the day, as he picked up two wins in his two matches on Saturday afternoon. First, Overcashier took a majority decision (9-0) against Adam Healey of Bucknell, before taking a 2-0 decision over Columiba's Josh Houldsworth.

Jeff Lemmer was also victorious in his two matches on Saturday. Lemmer took a 13-9 win against Bucknell's Stephen McPeek while also picking up a 4-2 decision over Stephen West.

This was Brown's final tune-up before the EIWA Championships on March 5-6 in Lewisburg, Pa.
