Bears Place Fourth At Quinnipiac Invitational

Hamden, CT - A small selection from the men's cross country team competed at the Quinnipiac Invitational today. The bears placed fourth with a score of 110 points in a field of eight teams; home team Quinnipiac took top honors with 37 points.

Freshman John Loeser (Weston, CT) placed seventeenth overall and first for Brown in 27:13 with junior Jacob Nettleton (South Orange, NJ) following close behind in eighteenth (27:21.1). Junior Alex Enscoe (Berkeley, CA) placed third for Brown, and thirtieth overall. Freshmen Alex Stern (Potomac, MD) and Colin Brett (Easton, PA) finished off the scoring positions for the team, placing fiftieth and fifty-third respectively.

The Bears will compete as a full team for the first time this season at the Twetfth Annual Iona Meet of Champions on Saturday, September 30, at Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx, NY.
