Providence, RI - The Brown men's cross-country team will hold its first practice of the 2002 season on Wednesday August 28th.

Coach John Gregorek returns a veteran team of runners including juniors Matt Emond, Mike DeCoste and Brendan O'Keefe. Top recruit Owen Washburn, the 2001 Massachusetts cross-country state champion, is a key addition to the team this fall.

Brown will open the 2002 season on Saturday Sept. 14th at the Harvard Invitational.
