Sacramento, CA -
Senior Paul Rosiak (Wood-Ridge, NJ) traveled out to Sacramento, CA this week to compete in the NCAA National Championship Meet, after qualifying at the NCAA Regional Meet less than two weeks ago.
Wednesday, Rosiak competed in the men's javelin preliminaries and had a best throw of 203-07, which placed him eighteenth overall. While Rosiak's throw did not allow for him to advance to Friday's finals, he was in good company, finishing just one place behind Brown track and field alumnus Hugh Murphy '06, who is using his remaining NCAA eligability at Kansas.
Earlier this season Rosiak was the Heptagonal champion in the javelin, and was also awarded First Team All-Ivy accolades, and was named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
