Providence, RI - Two athletes from the Brown men's track and field team were named First Team All-Ivy, and one was named to the Second Team by virtue of their finishes at the Heptagonal Championship, hosted by Yale University, over the weekend. Brown senior Ozzie Myers (Chittenango, NY) and freshman Craig Kinsley (Fairfield, CT) were honored on the First Team, while senior Ikenna Achilihu earned Second Team All-Ivy.

Myers earned First Team All-Ivy in the steeplechase, turning in a 9:08.72. His time not only earned him the title, but also qualified him for the IC4A Championships at Princeton this weekend. Joining Myers on the First Team is Kinsley, who placed first in the javelin throw, hurling a 199-07 for his first career Heptagonal Championship title.

Achilihu was named Second Team All-Ivy after placing second in the triple jump with a 51-01.00. His leap broke a school record for the second time this season.

The Bears will be back in action this weekend at the IC4A Championships hosted by Princeton University.
