Men Compete At NCAA East Regionals

New York, NY-- Those who qualified for the NCAA Regional meet headed down to New York this weekend to compete for the chance to head to the NCAA championships in Sacramento, CA. Junior high jumper Ray Bobrownicki (Avondale, PA) was the sole point scorer for the men's team. Bobrownicki's jump of 6'11" was matched by six other competitors, as third through ninth place all jumped that same height. Bobrownicki placed 8th, on misses.
Sophomore Paul Rosiak (Wood-Ridge, NJ) placed 13th in the javelin with a throw of 59.96m (196'9").
Junior Owen Washburn (Amherst, MA) placed 16th in the 5000m run with a time of 14:23.64.
The NCAA Regional meet concludes the outdoor season for the men's track and field team.
