Princeton, NJ -
The Bears took eight qualifying athletes to the IC4A Championships this weekend at Princeton. The three-day competition gave some Bears a last chance to meet Regional-qualifying marks and allowed others to close their outdoor seasons with one more championship meet.
In the 110-meter hurdles, junior Jamil McClintock (Plainfield, NJ) finished fifth in 14.22 to qualify for NCAA Regionals.
Freshman Reginald Cole (Seattle, WA) jumped 49-05.5 to place fourth in the triple jump. Cole met the qualifying standard for the NCAA Regional meet and moved up to sixth on the Brown top ten performance list.
Senior Paul Rosiak (Wood-Ridge, NJ) placed third in the javelin with a 210-02 throw. His throw qualified him for the NCAA Regional meet as well. Sophomore Sam Urlacher (Billings, MT) placed fifth in the event with a 201-02 throw.
Junior Paul Raymond (Miami, FL) placed eleventh in the 100 meter preliminaries, running a time of 10.77.
Brown will take qualifying athletes to the NCAA Regional Championships in Gainesville, FL from May 25-26 where the Bears will compete to advance to NCAA Nationals.
