A limited squad traveled up the I-95 to compete at the IC4A Championships this past weekend. Though only a few men competed, several posted top-ten times and personal bests.
- Sophomore Jamil McClintock (Plainfield, NJ) led the charge with his school-record effort in the 55-meter hurdles. His time of 7.44 also placed him fourth overall, earning All-East honors. McClintock's finish earned the Bears 5 points at the Championships.
- Sophomore Paul Raymond (Miami, FL) raced to a top-ten time in the 60-meter dash with his official time of 6.424.
- Sophomore Luke Renick (Warrenton, VA) broke the 22-second barrier in the 200-meter dash with his time of 21.94 in the preliminary round.
- Despite missing training due to injury, junior Christian Tabib (Valparaiso, IN) posted a time of 1:53.53 in the 800-meter run.
The Bears will now gear for the outdoor season, opening the 2006 campaign with their elite squad attending the spring training trip at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
