Men's Track Takes Part in First Day of Armory Collegiate; Bowery Takes First in Pole Vault

New York, NY - The Brown men's track team completed the first day of the Armory Collegiate Invitational in New York with several top ten finishes. In the university ranking, Brown currently stands in sixth out of 25 teams with 14 points. Manhatten and Syracuse lead with 48 and 31.5 points respectively. Senior Brad Bowery (Hamden, CT) won the university pole vault, clearing 5.21 meters, breaking the meet record of 5.20 meters.

Also placing in the top ten for Brown was senior Aaron Salinger (Hamden, CT), who placed seventh in the pole vault, clearing 4.70 meters. Senior Sean Thomas placed seventh in the university triple jump with a leap of 14.60 meters.
