Bears Continue Competition at Collegiate Invitiational

On day two of the Collegiate Invitational, several Bears took advantage of the national-level competition and ran to league ranked times.

Junior Nick Neely (Portola Valley, CA) won his heat of the 5,000-meter run. Neely clocked 14:21.5 over the distance and now ranks sixth all-time for Brown. Chris Burke (Dexter, MI) also set a personal best in the race, timed at 14:32.82.

Junior Michael Pruzinsky (Wayne, NJ) ran 22.20 in the 200-meter dash. Sophomore Luke Renick (Warrenton, VA) timed in at 22.61.

Senior Kent Walls (Beckley, WV) threw 15.59 in the weight throw, and rookie Eric Wood (Eugene, OR) hit 15.05 in the same event. Sophomore Ikenna Achilihu (Monroe, LA) hit 14.96 in the triple jump.

The 4x400 team of Pruzinsky, sophomore Jamil McClintock (Plainfield, NJ), Renick, and senior Dallas Dissmore (Princeton, NJ) finished in 3:20.16.
