2004-2005: Scored at outdoor Heptagonals and set a new personal best of 15-5.

High School: Personal best: 15-1 (pole vault). Despite being injured most of the 2004 track and field season with a torn hamstring, managed to earn NY State runner-up honors in the pole vault both indoors and outdoors and National Indoor Scholastic Championship All-American honors. In addition, he won outdoor Easterns (15 feet). Medaled in the state championships as part of his school's 4x100 relay.
