BOSTON – The Brown University men's and women's track & field teams put together several strong performances at the IC4A/ECAC Championships over the weekend at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.
Ryan Kelly (Greenwich, Conn.) was third in the 200 meters with a personal-best time of 21.46, second best all-time in program history. Tosin Oyewole (Elkridge, Md.) was eighth in the event with a personal-best time of 21.59, good for third all-time at Brown.
The 4x800 meter relay team of Cameron McKie, Dylan Groos (Nashville, Tenn.), Nicholas Wey (Princeton, N.J.) and Christian Bermel (Windsor, Conn.) was sixth at 7:31.07 for third all-time in program history.
Ryan Anderson (Santa Rosa, Calif.) was 15th in the 3,000 meters at 8:20.26, a personal best time. In the field, rookie Jason Katz (Wyckoff, N.Y.) set a personal best in the triple jump, taking eighth at 48-07.25.
On the women's side, O'Sha Williams (Jamaica, N.Y.) was runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 41-08.75, while Shanelle DeJournett (Knoxville, Tenn.) was third in the high jump with a cleared height of 5-07.00.
Megan Ratcliffe (Carlisle, Mass.) set a personal-best time in the 3,000 meters, finishing 14th at 9:45.17.
