2012-13: Placed fourth in the 800m at the New Balance Boston Twilight Meet with a collegiate-best 1:51.21…Finished 17th in the 800m at the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, as well running on the 4x800m relay team that finished eighth…Took 13th in the 1000m and helped the Distance Medley Relay to a sixth place finish at Indoor Heps…Finished 80th at the Ivy League Cross Country Championships…also competed in the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championships and Wisconsin Adidas Invitational as a member of the cross country team.
Track & Field Accomplishments: Qualified for USATF Jr Nationals.
2010 Outdoor Track & Field: Savage once again played a pivotal role in many of the relays ... The 4x800m and DMR went on to earn All-American status at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals meet in Greensboro, North Carolina ... Individually, Savage took fifth in the open 800m at the NYS Championship meet with a personal best of 1:53.
2009-10 Indoor Track & Field: Savage took first in the mile at the Molloy-Stanner Games in NYC with a new personal best of 4:18. He also played a key role in numerous relays that went on to earn All-American status at the Nike Indoor National meet.
Before Brown: A graduate of Liverpool High School, Colin Savage lettered in indoor and outdoor track, as well as in cross country… He served as the two-year captain of the cross country team and placed eighth at the 2008 NYS Federation Championship Meet... Named All-Central New York during his junior and senior years… Holds school records in the 4x800m and distance medley relay for both indoor and track, and was named All-American twice… Placed third in both the 4x800m and the distance medley relay at the Nike Indoor Nationals… Member of National Honor Society and named New York Section III Scholar Athlete.
Personal: Colin Savage, son of Vincent and Miyako Savage, has three siblings, Eileen (Syracuse University), Martin (Rochester Institute of Technology), and Mary Anne… Colin enjoys hiking and playing soccer and baseball… Concentrating in Economics.
