Three Bears Earn USTFCCCA Men’s Track & Field All-Academic Honors

Providence, RI- Three members of the Brown men's track & field team were among 357 athletes recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as All-Academic Honorees, the organization announced on Thursday. Duriel Hardy (West Chester, PA), NCAA javelin champion Craig Kinsley (Fairfield, CT) and Jordan Maddocks (Framingham, MA) each earned All-Academic honors for the Bears.

In all, 26 Ivy League athletes made the list, while Cornell led with six athletes. Dartmouth, Princeton and Yale followed with five each, followed by Brown with three and Harvard with two. To be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (including preliminary rounds) in their respective event.
