The Brown men's tennis team stayed unbeaten in Ivy League play with a 4-3 victory over Yale at Brown's outdoor tennis facility.
Brown captured the doubles point by winning at number one and two doubles. Junior Justin Natale (Flushing, NY) and junior co-captain Chris Drake (Needham, MA) an 8-5 victory at number one, while senior co-captain Nick Malone (Greystones, Ireland) and freshman Adil Shamasdin (Pickering, ONT) earned an 8-6 win at second doubles.
In singles, Malone, a Davis Cup player for Ireland, coasted to a 6-4, 6-2 victory at number two. Drake also won in straight sets at number four, coming away with a 7-5, 6-3 victory, while at number six, freshman Nick Goldberg (Albuquerque, NM) earned a 6-1, 6-1 win to secure the victory for the Bears.
