Brown Men's Tennis Team Topples Fresno State at Blue-Gray Classic

The #40 ranked Brown men's tennis team earned a hard-fought victory over #56 ranked Fresno State at the Blue-Gray College Classic in Montgomery, Alabama.
Brown gained an early advantage by winning the doubles point. The Bears second doubles team of sophomores Adil Shamasdin and Nick Goldberg earned an 8-5 victory, while its third doubles team of freshman Zach Pasanen and junior Kris Goddard came away with an 8-3 decision.
In singles, senior captain Chris Drake earned a 6-4, 6-4 win at number two. Shamasdin earned a three-set 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 victory at number three, and Pasanen came from behind to take a 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 victory.
