PROVIDENCE, RI - After a weekend off, the Brown men's tennis team (13-3), ranked 60th in the nation, was back in action on Friday night and put together two dominating performances. In the first match, Brown defeated in-state rival URI, 7-0, winning every single match, including five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Brown was strong up-and-down the lineup, earning five total 6-0 wins and four 6-1 decisions at #2-#6.

In the night cap, Brown again won, 7-0. While the doubles action was quickly decided, with Brown winning at #1 and #2, 8-1, and at #3, 8-0, singles action was a bit tighter. Brown won all six in straight sets, but the results were much closer than in the URI match.
