Bears Narrowly Fall to #56 East Tennessee State, 4-3

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (8-6) dropped a close 4-3 decision to #56 East Tennessee State on Tuesday evening at the Pizzitola Center courts. The Bears claimed the doubles point with a pair of 8-6 win at #2 and #3, but couldn't continue the momentum in singles action, where the Buccaneers were able to win four matches to edge the Bears. Highlighting the match was the win at #2 doubles where juniors Noah Gardner (Cambridge, MA) and Sam Garland (Bradenton, FL) posted their win over the 53rd-ranked doubles team in the country.
