WASHINGTON, DC - The Brown men's tennis team (9-3) rebounded from a 7-0 loss to a tough Virginia Tech team with a 7-0 victory over Georgetown on Sunday afternoon. The Bears claimed two of the three doubles matches to go up, 1-0, and then earned all six singles wins in straight sets to cruise to the victory. Brown was without senior Chris Lee (Sudbury, MA), who had been playing at #2 singles and #2 doubles for the second straight match and everyone stepped up to help fill the void. Freshman Jimmy Crystal (South Salem, NY), who prior to Saturday's Virginia Tech match hadn't played a dual singles match since January 19, stepped in and won at #6 singles. He also clinched the doubles point with a win at #3 doubles with sophomore Kendrick Au (St. John's, NF).
