Men's Tennis Edged By Unbeaten Michican, 4-3

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The 51st-ranked Brown men's tennis team had all it could handle from unbeaten Michigan (6-0) on Sunday and fell to the Wolverines, 4-3. The final three matches were decided in the final set.

Brown captured the doubles point with the No. 12-ranked team of Jamie Cerretani and Adil Shamasdin winning, 8-5, and Nick Goldberg and Ben Brier winning, 8-5 at number three.

The Bears were able to capture just two singles matches against the Wolverines. Senior Nick Goldberg captured a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Anthony Jackson at No. 2. At third singles, junior Adil Shamasdin rallied to defeat defeat Brian Hung 2-6, 7-5, 7-5.

Senior Jamie Cerretani, ranked 41st nationally, dropped a hard-fought 6-1, 3-6, 4-6 decision, surviving three match points before dropping the match to 34th ranked Mike Rubin.
