#61 Bears Sweep Stony Brook, 7-0, and Colgate, 6-1

PROVIDENCE, RI - The 61st-ranked Brown men's tennis team (8-1) picked up two more decisive wins on Saturday evening, defeating Stony Brook, 7-0, before handing Colgate at 6-1 loss. Against Stony Brook, Brown easily won the three doubles matches, before earning four of the six singles wins in straight sets. Later in the night against Colgate, the Raiders won a close match at 3rd doubles and then earned a straigh-set win at #6 singles. Those were the only blemishes for the Bears, who won the other two doubles matches by identical 8-3 scores and won the top five singles matches in straight sets.
