Bears Win Sixth Straight, 6-1 over Marist

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (6-1) won its sixth straight match on Friday evening, defeating visiting Marist, 6-1, at the Pizzitola Center Courts. The Bears won five of the six singles matches, three of which went to three sets, and earned the doubles point by sweeping the three doubles matches. Sophomore Jonathan Pearlman (New York, NY) and senior Chris Lee (Sudbury, MA) played a big role in the victory, as they won their singles matches at #1 and #2, respectively, and also earned a win at #2 doubles. With his singles win, Pearlman improved to 7-0 at the #1 position this spring.
