Men's Tennis Ousted By #34 Harvard, 5-2

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Brown men's tennis team fell to #34 Harvard, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Beren Tennis Center in Ivy League tennis action.

Brown falls to 15-7 and 1-5 in Ivy play with the loss.

The Bears faced an early hole they could not recover from, as the host Crimson swept all doubles matches and claimed the top-two singles showdowns.  Justin To battled #39 Denis Nguyen to three sets, before ultimately falling 6-3, 3-6, 2-6.

The lone victories on for the Bears on Sunday came from the rackets of Brandon Yeoh and Peter Tarwid.  Yeoh ousted Sebastian Beltrame in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 before Tarwid sailed past Brian Yeung, 6-1, 7-6.

The Bears look to snap a four-match losing skid next Saturday at Yale in the regular season finale for both teams.
