#61 Men's Tennis Downed At #22 Columbia, 7-0

NEW YORK – The #61 Brown men's tennis team dropped a tough 7-0 decision to #22 Columbia on Sunday at the Dick Savitt Tennis Center.

Brown drops to 15-5 overall and 1-3 in Ivy play with the loss.
 
The host Lions claimed all but one singles matches in straight sets, as the 21st ranked Winston Lin defeated Justin to, 6-2, 6-3 in No. 1 singles and #101 Dragos Ignat raced past Gregory Garcia, 6-1, 6-2.
 
Peter Tarwid scored Brown's lone set victory on the day, as he grabbed a 6-0 decision in the second set of his match against Mike Vermeer in the No. 4 slot.
 
The Bears are back in action on Friday, playing host to #54 Dartmouth beginning at 2 p.m.
