Men’s Tennis Falls to #51 Cornell, 5-2

ITHACA, NY – The Brown men's tennis team (12-9, 1-3) dropped a 5-2 decision to #51 Cornell on Sunday afternoon in Ithaca. The Big Red won the doubles point with victories at #1 and #3 and then won four of the six singles matches.  

Brown's wins came at #3 singles where junior Sam Fife (Scarsdale, NY) earned a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) decision and at #4, where sophomore Daniel Hirschberg (Westport, CT) earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Brown continues action on Friday afternoon when the Bears travel to Cambridge to face Harvard in a 2:00 p.m. contest.
