Yale Defeats #61 Brown Men’s Tennis, 4-3

ITHACA, NY – The Yale men's tennis team, seeded 8th at the ECAC Team Championships, edged fifth-seeded and 61st-ranked Brown (3-5) in the consolation bracket Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs won in straight sets at the top three singles matches to clinch the victory after earning the earlier doubles point with wins at #1 and #3.

Sophomore William Spector (Weston, MA) led Brown with a victory at #4 singles and teamed with junior Brandon Burke (Kingston, Jamaica) for a win at #2 doubles.

Other winners in singles action were junior Sam Fife (Scarsdale, NY) at #5 and senior Mike Hill (Topsham, ME) at #6.
