Men’s Tennis Wins 9 of 11 Matches on Day One of Invitational

PROVIDENCE, RI – The Brown men's tennis team hosted Penn in a hidden dual match as part of the first day of competition at the Brown Invitational, in Memory of Margaux Powers. Playing a total of 11 matches, seven in singles and four in doubles, the Bears were victorious in nine of them, winning six singles matches and three doubles matches.

Junior Brandon Burke (Kingston, Jamaica), sophomores Daniel Hirschberg (Westport, CT) and Jacob Laser (Glencoe, IL), and freshman Lucas Da Silveira (Incline Village, NV) were among the Brown players to win in both singles and doubles.

The Bears round out competition at the Invitational on Saturday against Boston College and Georgetown.
