#51 Men’s Tennis Falls to #60 Dartmouth, 5-2

HANOVER, NH – The 51st-ranked Brown men's tennis team (16-6, 2-3) dropped a 5-2 decision to #60 Dartmouth (17-3, 3-2) on Friday afternoon. The Big Green earned the doubles point with wins at #1 and #3 and then claimed four of the six singles matches to post the win.

Brown's lone doubles win came at #2, where junior Tom Deighton (London, England) combined with freshman Michael Riechmann (Houston, TX) for an 8-5 win.

In singles action, Brown got wins from Riechmann at #4 (7-5, 7-5) and freshman Daniel Hirschberg (Westport, CT) at #6, 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (7)

Brown continues action on Sunday, April 22nd, when it hosts #24 Harvard in a 2:00 p.m. match.
