Men's Tennis Opens 2010 With 2-1 Record

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's tennis team (2-1) opened its dual season with a 4-3 loss to Buffalo, but rebounded to post a pair of wins, over Boston University, 6-1, and Bryant, 7-0, over the weekend at the Pizzitola Center Courts. Brown got solid contributions from its class of 2013, as four freshmen were in the singles lineup against Buffalo and five freshmen occupied the top five singles slots in the victory over Boston University. The Bears were led by freshman Mike Hill (Topsham, ME) and sophomore Jimmy Crystal (South Salem, NY), who were both 4-0 on the weekend. Freshman Tom Deighton (London, England) also had a strong weekend, posting a 4-1 record.
