Men's Swimming & Diving Falls to Columbia, 148-93, and Yale, 146-93

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Brown men's swimming and diving team fell to 2-6 on the season with losses to Columbia (148-93) and Yale (146-93) on Saturday afternoon at the Smith Swim Center.
The Bears won the 200 medley relay to start the day (1:33.16), while sophomore Tim Wang (South Pasadena, CA) led the Bears in the individual events, taking third in the 200 free (1:43.47) and second in the 100 free (46.73). Freshman Eric Brumberg (Sewell, NJ) also had a strong day for the Bears, winning the 200 IM (1:53.61), and taking third in the 200 back (1:51.74).
Junior Aron Gyuris (Thousand Oaks, CA) took first in the 50 free (21.36) and third in the 200 fly (1:53.82) to help lead the Bears.
Brown also took third in the 800 free relay (6:58.02).
The Bears continue action on Saturday, February 15, 2003, when they host Cornell in the Smith Swim Center at 12:00 noon.
